Takeshi covered his mouth with his left hand as he yawned, while his right hand dug inside his pockets for the keys to his apartment. "I'm tired," the Night Kids team leader muttered softly to himself before he was overtaken by yet another yawn. "All I want to do right now is take a nice bath and then go to sleep."

It had been yet another one of his late nights at work; he was glad that tomorrow was the weekend since he planned to sleep, sleep and sleep. He yawned again as he opened the door, and blinked at the familiar pair of FILA sneakers on the floor.

He sighed. As much as he enjoyed Keisuke's company - among other things - he was not in the mood for anything else in bed except sleep. And dammit, if Keisuke wanted to sleep with him tonight, that was all the RX-7 driver would get; he would do nothing more than really sleep.

"I'm home," he said as he kicked off his shoes and stepped inside. "Keisuke?"

"Takeshi!" his lover greeted happily as the RX-7 driver practically skipped to meet him. "Here, let me take that," Keisuke said, taking his briefcase and the folder tucked under his arm. "It's pretty late - in fact, it's already two in the morning. Let me guess, work?"

"Yeah," Takeshi answered, not bothering to disguise the fatigue in his voice and hoping that Keisuke would get the hint, "They had a meeting this morning and some other stuff came up that just had to be finished by today." He yawned.

"Your bath is ready," Keisuke said before disappearing into the bedroom with Takeshi's things. He reappeared a moment later and laughed at the surprised look on Takeshi's face. "What? I just figured you might like a nice long soak after work."

Takeshi sighed, but with appreciation this time. A warm soak would be just perfect. "Thanks, Keisuke," he said, giving the other driver a quick kiss on the cheek before he headed for his bedroom to undress. He shrugged out of his suit and pants, at the same time wondering why Keisuke was being extra nice tonight.

"Oh never mind, I already know the answer," Takeshi grumbled softly, "he just wants to get laid."

He grabbed a towel from the closet and padded off to the bathroom, not caring how silly he looked wearing nothing more than his shirt and boxers. He ignored Keisuke's chuckling and entered the already steaming bathroom.

"Takeshi?" Keisuke said, knocking on the door, "have you eaten? I could go get something while you're taking a soak."

"I am feeling kinda hungry," he replied as he stripped off the remainder of his clothing.

"Okay!" Keisuke said cheerfully, "I'll be back in ten minutes!"

Takeshi grunted in reply and quickly washed himself. Once done, he lowered himself in the bath and sighed almost dreamily. The heat of the water felt so soothing on his tired muscles. He sniffed and found that the water even smelled nice; apparently Keisuke had used one of the driver's favourite aromatheraphy bath sachets. He had never bothered with them before, but the faint scent was making him relax, so perhaps there was something to these things Keisuke was so fond of.

He spent the next fifteen minutes pleasantly soaked almost up to his ears in the warm water and was about to drift off to sleep when a knock on the door startled him wide awake. "Takeshi?" Keisuke called out in a worried tone, "you okay in there?"

"Yeah, I'll be done in a minute." Takeshi reluctantly got out of the bath and dried himself with the towel. He stepped out of the bathroom, shivering slightly at the cooler air of the air-conditioned room. Keisuke was busy laying out food on the low table in the living room, humming softly to himself.

Good grief, it's almost as if we're newlyweds.

Smiling, Takeshi went into the bedroom and dressed. Clad in black pyjamas, he went back to the living room and sat down; his mouth watered at the sight and smell of the food on the table. Keisuke had bought almost all of his favourites...

Oh man... he really wants to get laid tonight.

Takeshi pushed the feeling of guilt away and reminded himself that he was Tired and he needed Lots of Sleep. "Go ahead, dig in!" Keisuke said, practically cheering him on. Muttering the obligatory 'Itadakimasu', Takeshi picked up his chopsticks and began eating.

"Don't you want to eat?" Takeshi asked his lover, who was smiling from the other side of the table.

Keisuke shook his head. "Naah, I've already eaten."

"Okay," Takeshi mumbled and continued stuffing his face, staring down at his box of food. He just couldn't bear to look at Keisuke's cheerful and expectant face; he just felt so guilty!

But I'm tired, dammit!

"More?" Keisuke asked after Takeshi set the empty box away.

"Mmm... no. I think I'll go to bed now."

"Okay!" Keisuke said, positively beaming. Takeshi closed his eyes and felt like kicking himself.

"Maybe I should get this cleared away first-" Takeshi began, but Keisuke interrupted him.

"No," Keisuke said firmly, swatting Takeshi's hands away from the boxes of food, "I'll take care of this. Go to bed."

Takeshi nodded weakly and headed for the bedroom, where he flung himself into bed, facedown. Maybe he should just tell Keisuke that he wasn't in the mood tonight... but Keisuke was being so nice he felt more than just a bit guilty. He didn't want Keisuke to get upset, and he knew that his lover would get upset if-

But I'm tired, dammit!

He heard Keisuke enter the room, and winced slightly when Keisuke practically jumped into bed. He braced himself for the oncoming assault of affection, and was very surprised when instead of turning him around and tearing off his clothes like what he had expected, Keisuke merely grasped his shoulders and began giving him a massage.

"Eh?" was all Takeshi could say, surprised.

"What? I figured you might like this too, since you looked absolutely awful when you walked in," Keisuke answered as he worked on Takeshi's shoulders. "You must dead tired, working late."

Takeshi almost felt like laughing out loud. He slowly turned around and smiled at his lover. "Thank you," he said softly.

Keisuke grinned. "Anytime. Now as you were, I'll work on your back."

"Mmm," was all Takeshi mumbled in reply, enjoying the sensation of Keisuke's strong hands working on the still-stiff spots on his back.

Nice... he thought before fatigue caught up with him and he fell asleep.

Keisuke closed the door to the bedroom softly, being careful not to make any noise. Takeshi was asleep, and Keisuke hoped that he would stay asleep until late afternoon at least.

"He looked really tired, so I guess that could happen," Keisuke mused as he padded to the kitchen, and sighed. He reached into his pocket for his cellphone and immediately hit the speed-dial button for his brother's phone.

"Aniki?" Keisuke said tentatively when Ryousuke answered the call. "Umm, I kinda need your help." He stared at the scorched marks on the ceiling, evidence that his culinary skills were practically beyond divine help. Good thing Takeshi, as prudent as always, had a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. How was he to know he wasn't to use that much cooking oil?

"Yeah aniki? Do you know what mom uses to clean strong stains?"
